Fundamentals from a Tailor
Learn the most useful basics from the perspective of a tailor. We'll talk about how to hem, mend and modify. This class focuses on high quality alterations that are best done by hand - including buttons, invisible stitching, stain removal, and understanding the straight of grain. You will also receive my personal cheat sheet for trouble shooting details like needle type, thread size, and fiber content.

Intermediate Topics
This class is a deep dive into one single topic. Examples include but are not limited to: How to shorten sleeves, adjust the seat in a pair of pants, add discrete elastic to your waist band, how to follow a pattern, and helpful tips for transitioning your wardrobe (or queering your clothes to fit an evolving aesthetic). This class requires you to bring your own sewing machine, and to feel confident in some fundamental sewing skills.

Open Workshop Hours
Bring your own project! I provide one-on-one, in-person coaching. While I love a good online tutorial, sometimes what we actually need is irl support on that one small technical detail. Other times we need a regular cheerleader to hold us accountable to finish that pile of aspirational projects. Whatever your creative goals are, I’m here to celebrate your wins and provide any additional technical support you might need.
